Structure of Electron Beam
Perforation
Electron Beam Perforation is constituted of
electron beam generator, lower column,
chamber processing, vacuum unit, CNC
apparatus and high-voltage generator.
In addition to above, incidental
equipment including tumbling barrel
and 5-axis manipulator are used for
retaining processed materials and as mobile jig.
Perforation
Process
First, extract thermal electron generated from
heated cathode (W filum)
from grid and accelerate it on anode. Accelerated
electron shall be converged in magnetic coil
and be conducted to vacuum
chamber. Electron beam of dense high energy
shall irradiate on microscopic
spot which melts partially material
and a perforation is made as a result
after evaporation.
